Trust in the Process

Divine Trust is an innate feeling from within. It’s the inner expression reminding us that we know much more than we think...telling us to trust our gut.

When we silence our minds; we are able to hear the whisper from our hearts that guide us to the next right thing to do. Be still. I love this quote by Steve Jobs,

Don’t let the noice of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.

Learning to trust is a process. My journey with the concept of trust began at a very young age. This is a time when our innocent souls are vulnerable to thoughts, beliefs, and actions of the authority figures in our lives. I remember hearing;

The only people you can trust is your family.

This was confusing. I was a quiet and shy child who often heard family members say one thing, yet act in a different way. I listened and watched the people I was told to “trust” display untrustworthy behaviors, as I was subconsciously receiving mixed messages about the expression of “trust”.

Trust

As my journey continued; I had no confidence in the words of others, and I didn’t trust the mixed up messages that were swirling around my head. I second guessed myself even when the truth was right before me.

With all the current uncertainties and stress going on in our world, knowing who and what to trust is a daunting task. Sometimes, I even find it challenging to trust myself, and I definitely am extremely hesitant to believe or trust anything I see/hear from our politicians.

My process of trust began, and continues, with surrender… a quiet surrender in prayer.  I let go and I let God guide me to the next right thing to do.

Today, more than ever, I rely on this process of Divine Trust…listening to my inner wisdom as the guiding force in my life!

Trust is my Faith ~ Faith is trusting the Power within me as my guide.

In Peace,
